Glad that a biog. is planned for Miriam Hopkins. I thought she was glamorous and talented, tho’ I didn’t know about her in her heyday. My parents saw her in “Lysistrata” in the first company in New York City, 1930, and raved about her and the play. I have a near perfect program from that show and their ticket stubs if you want to buy a truly memorable piece of Hopkins memorabilia. The show was considered risque then-the case must have had a ball playing it…

Okay, I spent most of my Thanksgiving 2010 weekend reading back thru your posts and I have to say that this is remarkable. I have read the entire blog and love it. I came across this site from keeping up with Lisa Burks blogsite. In the fall of 2008 I spent two weeks in LA going thru cemeteries finding celebrity gravesites. I used your book “Celebrities in Los Angeles Cemeteries” as one of my guides to locating these burial sites. Thanks you for providing all this wonderful information on the Hollywood of yesteryear.
    Thanks you’re welcome 🙂
