Broadway dims lights to honor Natasha Richardson


The usually brilliant lights of Broadway dim for one minute Thursday in honor of Natasha Richardson.


NEW YORK (CNN) — Broadway dimmed its lights Thursday night to honor actress Natasha Richardson, who died after suffering a brain injury while skiing at a Canadian resort.


Richardson, a film star, Tony-winning stage actress and member of the legendary Redgrave acting family — died in a New York hospital after she fell down a ski slope Monday in Quebec.    (Click on ‘Continue Reading’ for more)

‘Equus’ star says doing theater helps in ‘seeing what you are made of’

NEW YORKDaniel Radcliffe is talking about Alan Strang, the troubled young man he plays in Equus, the Peter Shaffer drama now being revived on Broadway.


“The brilliant thing about Alan is that you wouldn’t notice him walking down the street,” says Radcliffe. “He’s kind of inconspicuous. He’s like Alec Guinness in all those films where he just sort of becomes invisible as soon as he walks into a crowd.”   (Click on ‘Continue Reading’ for more)
