Memorial planned for actress Beverly Garland

A memorial service for actress Beverly Garland, who died last Friday at the age of 82, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at her namesake hotel, Beverly Garland’s Holiday Inn, 4222 Vineland Ave., North Hollywood.


Instead of flowers, Garland’s family requests that donations in her memory be made to the Motion Picture & Television Fund, Box 51150, Los Angeles, CA 90051; or to the Interval House Crisis Shelters and Centers for Victims of Domestic Violence, Interval House, Beverly Garland Memorial Fund, Box 3356, Seal Beach, CA 90740.

Beverly Garland, versatile actress in film and TV, dies at 82



In a career spanning more than 50 years, she moved from B-movie cult stardom to scores of roles in television, notably on ‘My Three Sons.’ She also operated a namesake hotel in North Hollywood.

Beverly Garland, whose long and varied acting career ranged from B-movie cult stardom in the 1950s portraying gutsy characters in movies such as Not of This Earth and It Conquered the World to playing Fred MacMurray’s wife on the sitcom My Three Sons, has died.
