    I’ll have to pay my respects next time I’m in LA. I always make a beeline for Forest Lawn whenever I’m in town.

    I have a picture of my mother setting on the lap of Smiley Burnette while he was on a promotional tour around the mid-south area for a local radio station in the late 1940’s. His gravesite was on my list when I visited in November of 2008.
