Regardless of politics, Ronald Reagan was a good actor who appeared in many enjoyable films, several of which I watch frequently. And, unless I am mistaken, he was for some years the president of the Screen Actors’ Guild. He was not just a minor footnote in Hollywood history. One of my favorite Ronald Reagan films and one that I watch a couple of times a month is One For The Book from 1947. That film also stars Eleanor Parker, Eve Arden and Wayne Morris. Happy Birthday, Mr. President! Your acting talents are still appreciated by many!
Thanks for the Ronald Reagan birthay blog posting. Wow, 100! I too, enjoyed his movies very much. He was an inspiration to the country. Happy Birthday indeed.
I enjoyed the bio on tv about Nancy Reagan however they didn’t mention her godmother was Nazimova. Would like to hear more about that connection.
