Bob Cummings was a versatile actor and one of my favorites. He is perhaps best remembered for his comedic roles, especially on TV, but he also left a wealth of dramatic work as well. I’ve watched The Saboteur [1942] countless times. His biography is fascinating, especially his association with Orville Wright who reportedly taught him how to fly, as well as the claim that in 1938 Bob became the first certified flight instructor in the U.S.A. and later served in that capacity during World War II. Happy Birthday, Bob!
Love that Bob!
