A small group gathered Saturday at Baltimore Cemetery for the unveiling of a headstone for Norman “Chubby” Chaney, a child star in “The Little Rascals” whose grave had gone unmarked for 76 years.

Thanks to Mikal and others for this worthwhile cause. Sad, for how long it took to mark the graves of “Chubby” and his Dear Mother. May they both Rest in Peace, and now with a smile on their faces as they look down to see their beautiful new Stones!!!

Although the Little Rascals entertainment was before my time, I appreciate the unblemished humour they represented and thank all for remembering this fine young actor. Norman Chaney deserved this tribute.

Excellent to hear one very deserving Chaney is finally getting his marker. Now someone needs to get one for Farina, up in Oakland. And then there’s the other, more famous Chaney…Lon.

So happy to see his grave is finally marked. His screen presence came across as having a shining personality. It would make sense that he was trained by one of the greatest.
