Nice, suitably celebratory post, Alan! Isn’t it wonderful to see Miriam finally getting some of the attention she deserves?! My heart leapt up when I saw the schedule.
But wait! There’s more. October 14, 8 p.m., marks… “The Stranger’s Return.” Yes, you heard me right!
I have seen all four of these titles, more than once. All of interest, with Temple Drake a genuine curiosity worth anyone’s time.
Thanks Colleen, can’t wait for Stranger’s Return. It’s actually a good movie and has been sorely neglected.
Great news about “The Stranger’s Return” on TCM! It’s a very understated Miriam in a nice little film with Lionel Barrymore and Franchot Tone. I’m still waiting for the only film of hers I haven’t seen yet – “Two Kinds of Women”…
