NOTE: Astor is listed under her real name, Lucile L. and her married name Hawks. You may notice that she also is listed as widowed. Just three months prior, her husband, director Kenneth Hawks and nine other crewman were killed when two airplanes collided over the Pacific Ocean near Long Beach. Hawks, the brother of director Howard Hawks, was filming scenes for the Fox Studios feature, Such Men are Dangerous (1930).

    I agree Melissa, it’s a gorgeous building with a few others on the same block. Also, Paul Muni and Duncan Renaldo lived here at the same time as Astor.
